Chocolate mint cookie recipe2/16/2024 Let set up at room temperature or chill in the refrigerator. Step 6 Dip each cookie in chocolate with a fork, shake off any excess chocolate back into the bowl, and transfer cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.Stir oil into the chocolate to thin it out to a dipping consistency. Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted and smooth. Using a small cookie scoop or teaspoon, drop dough 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Stir in creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks. Step 5 Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, extract, food color and egg until soft dough forms.Cool on the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Chill cookies on the pans for 20 minutes. Transfer cookie dough to prepared baking sheets. Step 4 Roll cookie dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface and cut dough into 2-inch circles.Let dough rest at room temperature for a few minutes so it is soft enough to roll. Cover dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to 3 days. Add the chocolate chips and continue mixing until evenly dispersed. With the mixer on low, slowly add flour mixture and beat until just combined. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour. Reduce the mixer speed to medium, add the egg and vanilla, and beat again until combined. Turn the dough out onto a work surface and form into a disc. ![]() With the mixer speed on low, add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Step 2 In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.Adding Greek yogurt also allows us to use a smidge less butter. Mix the flour, cocoa and baking powder in a bowl and gradually beat in to the creamed mixture. For tender cookies and delectable butter flavor. Cream the butter and brown sugar (I use a freestanding mixer for ease), then beat in the vanilla extract and the egg. Add vanilla and mint extracts and mix to incorporate. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/gas mark 4/350F. Step 1 In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes.

Casio loopy games2/16/2024 The following list isn’t in any order, mainly because there’s only 10 titles for the Loopy. I still think it has a kind of quirky charm. It didnt work out as it was basically just a glorified sticker printer, and most of the few games released were uninspiring dress-up/character maker style affairs. With contrast settings on the back and super expensive thermal paper never far from your parent’s shopping list, girls could create their own images to stick everywhere or share with their friends… Arguably Casios biggest mistake (since the PV-1000 at least), the Loopy was released Japan-only in 1995 and targeted at female gamers. That’s basically all it does, with the exception of Numbers 2 and 3 in the title below. Casio made a second attempt in the 1990s with the Casio Loopy, but again failed to capture the market. The loopy is a console that plays games and prints stickers of said games. It was unusual in being marketed to female gamers, and included a built in colour thermal printer to print stickers from game screenshots. 'Its a flash cart for the Casio Loopy, a lesser-known game console from the 16-bit era, with an integrated full-color sticker printer,' Braunstein explains of his creation. FEMICOM is home to the most complete and accurate information about the Casio Loopy, a 32-bit Japanese game console marketed to girls. The PV-1000 was Casio’s first attempt at a game console, but it was not their first foray into the games market. Each bundle included either the game Anime Land or Bow-wow Puppy Love Story and a Seal cartridge. In an effort to boost the sale and liquidate some stock, Casio released 2 bundles. Demise By October 1996, it was clear to Casio that the Loopy was going nowhere and were getting ready to jump ship. That’s not because there’s a free seal toy with every title (although that might have made them better), but because seal means sticker. I Want a Room in Loopy Town Simulation game. ![]() ![]() I know, it’s old fashioned and totally unnecessary, but Casio thought that girls needs a console specific to them back in the day, so they made one that was uber expensive that parents would have to keep spending money on long after the initial purchase.Įach of the best Casio Loopy games has My Seal Computer written on it. Yes, the Casio Loopy is a console designed for girls. loopy nuts are we,cant wait for this fella. … if you like stickers, and you’re a girl, that is. Like with wii games I wish they had all offered classic controls. Make way for a list of the best Casio Loopy games, ten titles that will blow your mind and change your life forever…

Getting rid of brain fog2/15/2024 ![]() In that case, you may want to look into vitamin supplements. But for some reason, your brain is still feeling fuzzy. Let’s say you’re already eating healthy - you’re not consuming too much sugar, you eat healthy fats, and you’ve removed vegetable oils from your diet. 8 Ways To Eliminate Your Brain Fog Once And For All Nutritional Deficiencies 1) Watch out for added sugars in your foods 2) eat more healthy fats and 3) remove vegetable oils (canola, sunflower, etc.) from your diet. There are 3 ways to ensure you’re eating the proper foods to keep your brain healthy. Avoiding dietary cholesterol not only puts your brain at risk, but also your life.Being mindful of what you eat is a huge part of reducing brain fog and getting your brain back on track. Brain inflammation can be an underlying cause of not only brain fog, but also ADHD, anxiety, depression, and memory loss, as well as serious neurological diseases such as stroke and Alzheimer’s.And you don’t need to be concerned about dietary cholesterol being bad for your brain.Your brain contains a lot of cholesterol and too little of it increases your risk of dementia, depression, and even suicide. Note that the list above does not include vegetable oils like sunflower, safflower or canola oil.Ĭanola oil especially is high in inflammatory omega-6 fatty acids which contribute to brain inflammation. To keep your brain healthy and to get rid of brain fog, we recommend a diet of roughly 50% healthy fat from nuts, avocados, coconut oil, olive oil, wild salmon, eggs, and grass-fed meat. This is why there low-fat diets are so awful – without enough fat, the brain will literally consume itself. When you don’t eat enough healthy fats, the brain uses itself for fuel. Fat helps the brain produce the raw materials it needs to create essential brain chemicals. ![]() ![]() That wasn’t a typo.If glucose is the fuel for your brain, then fat is the “super fuel”.Your brain is comprised of 60% fat, which is why low-fat diets have failed so disastrously, both for our weights and for our brains. On the other hand, high blood glucose levels lead to insulin resistance and diabetes, both of which have been linked to Alzheimer’s. ![]() Low glucose in your brain leads to brain fog, mood swings, irritability, tiredness, mental confusion, and impaired judgment. Your brain gets a burst of too much glucose, then too little. Your brain uses glucose (sugar) as fuel, but refined carbohydrates like sugar and high fructose corn syrup are not good sources of fuel. But luckily, it’s also the one that’s easiest to fix! One of the first things you may think when your brain gets foggy is “Was it something I ate (or didn’t eat enough of)?” Eating the wrong foods is by far, the most common cause of brain fog. The causes of brain fog usually fall into two categories - lifestyle-related or a side effect of a medical condition or medication.Below are the eight main causes of brain fog and what you can do to prevent each one.Ĩ Ways To Eliminate Your Brain Fog Once And For All You Are Eating the Wrong Foods It affects your ability to think and you may find it difficult to put your thoughts into words. When you’re feeling foggy, unfocused, disorganized, and like you just can’t think, your brain is sending an important signal that there’s an imbalance in your life that needs to be addressed. But, even though many people experience it, brain fog is by no means normal. In fact, it is avoidable and 100% treatable. In this 8-part series, you’ll learn the main causes of brain fog and what you can do to get rid of that hazy feeling once and for all. You know that feeling of confusion, forgetfulness, and lack of focus you have every so often? Although “brain fog” is not a medically recognized term, it’s a common feeling that many people suffer with. Prompts kids travel journal2/15/2024 ![]() It’s interesting to see what felt important at the time and there’s always so much I’d forgotten about until I see the words on the page written in my own familiar scrawl. I’ll admit that many of the pages make me cringe, but it’s a joy to read and it brings memories flooding back in a way that photos never could. I’ve got travel journals from my first backpacking trip in 2009. I love writing my travel diary but I love reading it back even more. I’ll have a cold beer or a glass of wine and spend half an hour quietly jotting down my thoughts from the day.Įven on the days where I don’t have a lot to say, I’ll just bullet point some thoughts and stick in a few tickets or notes or whatever I’ve collected that day. I love to reflect on the day, write about everything I’ve done and jot down notes about things I want to remember. I’ll usually write in my travel journal before going out for dinner, at that gorgeous time of day when the sun is setting and everything is peaceful and calm. A journal brings back memories in a way a photo never could, and the act of writing helps solidify memories so you’re less likely to forget them. In my opinion, not enough people write travel journals! Travel journaling is honestly the most therapeutic and creative way to store and reflect on your travel memories. ![]() I’ve got some tips to get started and also tips to keep travel journaling, even on the days you aren’t in the mood!įor me, writing a travel journal or a travel diary is one of my favourite times of the day while I’m travelling. This post about travel journaling was created in collaboration with Snappy Snaps and I’d like to share some tips to help you create a beautiful and thoughtful travel journal. That’s like a modern form of journaling travel, right? Well…no. Today I’d like to make a case to bring back the lost art of travel journaling.
